The LSE AAB hosted its kick-off event for the Mentorship Scheme cohort 2021/22 on January 31, 2022. It was an occasion for mentors and mentees to discuss their experiences and expectations, and hear insights from our special guest Helene Banner.
On 17 January 2022, the LSE AAB community had the privilege of being invited to a reception at the Belgian Permanent Representation to the EU by H.E. Mr Willem Van de Voorde, Belgian Ambassador to the EU and our fellow LSE alumnus (LL.M. 1988). The Ambassador shared with us his assessment of the state of the EU.
On 27 October 2021, the LSE Alumni Association Belgium welcomed recent graduates to our community and offered the opportunity to hear from 5 LSE alumni about their careers in Brussels at the virtual ‘Welcome to the city’ event.



The LSE Alumni Association Belgium is open to both LSE Alumni and friends of the LSE.
The association offers two types of membership:
Paying Membership. The annual membership fee is 25 euros and helps the association meet its financial needs, organise events of high quality, subsidise certain activities and develop new initiatives. Paying LSE Alumni have access to all of our events and can use exclusive services such as the Alumni Directory and our vacancy board. Paying Friends of the LSE are invited to the majority of our events.
Non-paying Membership. LSE Alumni and Friends of the LSE that sign up as non-paying members can receive our monthly newsletter and attend a limited number of our events, such as our monthly drinks.
